Events calendar
|
There are regular events through the year, which
attract new visitors year on year.
The most popular is the New Year’s Eve celebrations
on the Recreation Ground, opposite the Information Centre. Families come
from far and wide to be part of the evening’s festivities and the fireworks,
which start from 9.30pm* (the children don’t
know it’s not midnight…). Then
the next day, there’s the New Year’s Day Family Fun Day, also on the
Recreation Ground.
